Composition, colours, textures, lighting - all wonderful Shu

What a good eye you have for 'found abstracts', this is terrific and yet so simple and so easy to overlook. The light just complements the textures so well. ~ Regards Melbob

Lovely abstract!

Shu, you were in Northampton?? I live only about 15-20 miles from there. We need to get together sometime. Have you seen the Ansel Adams photo exhibit at the Smith College art museum? BTW I really like this shot...and like most of us here I wouldn't think it strange at all to see someone taking a photo of this.

I'm sure the other artists understood Shu! lol

This is a wonderful exploration of textures and tones - isn't it nice being an artist and seeing interesting and beautiful things where others only see junk? Cindy

At an art fair in Northampton, Mass. recently and while I was sitting and having a latte in a refreshment tent, I noticed this scene of random articles carelessly leaning against the wall of one of the exhibition buildings. I particularly liked the broken glass against the textured cement wall and nice color of the weathered board. The bycycle was also parked there and I thought just the tire would compliment the composition. (Many people may have thought I was nuts pointing my camera at such a non-descript scene, but only "we" know just how great these found abstracts may appear an image!!! LOL) Thanks for your nice comments! shu

Throw away maybe, but Art it is. Question, Shu....did you place the bicycle tire where it is? Nothing wrong in that....In fact I'd give you kudos for that....but it is almost too perfect to have not have had some human help.

Best Wishes, Traveller

You have such a wonderful taste for shapes, lines and abstracts. And color too :) Love this one. Beautiful light in it also.
