Thank you Jim, Michael and Lonnit. I certainly appreciate your feedback! BTW Nico, Sorry! I missed answering your question: There is no particular technique or method I am using for this kind of photography. I simply play around in PS till I get what I am looking for, mainly using curves, hue/sat, brt/con. About the white background: lightbox would be ideal but not necessary. But I have gotten similar results with different types of white backgrounds too. Open skies or walls are good too. This one was done with white window blinds in the background. You don't see the stripes as they were about 2 feet behind the subject and are totally out of focus. -Cat

Ditto: Lovely. This seems to have become your trademark, recent especially, these super composed, delicate, floral close-ups. And you do it really well. Would you be comfortable sharing some of the technical "technique"? I was wondering, for example, what you used as background, whether it was in a light-tent, tripod?, lighting set-up? and so on.
