I love the extra focus of the foot. It points to an 'attitude' of nonchalance. I enjoy everything about this image and its genesis of an idea.

Pure genius, from concept to execution, the light and color, the shadows and the composition- its all perfect. I'm sort of glad I got to participate in a few challenges without Vikas or I may not have returned after the first.

Debbi, you took the words right out my mouth, so to speak. I guess is it all about the fun, the sense of community and the learning. Through participating, it feels to me as if I am contuously attending a photography course where the "grand masters" show me what can be achieved. Vikas, you are of course one of those "grand masters" - what a superb image. It inspires me to try out a whole lot of new stuff. Compliments and regards jnconradie

Mary Anne, if Vikas permits me: I would say, First the chair then a backgound (paper?) then a model sitting a chair smoking, cigar in is rt. hand, with his right leg propped up, then a light source. The chair in the foreground is lit by another light from above at an angle. -Cat
