To George: no problems at all, friend. Our family has four cats and two dogs, some also of "unknown origins" - and all loved to bits! Long-nosed Persians are just fine! :-)

Thanks for the comments, Nico & Nugar. George is a twice rescued cat of unknown origins. Let's say a Long-nosed Purrsian, rather than a for-real Persian. We got him first when he was a kitten. We already had two cats then, so we passed him on to an older friend who 12 years later passed on himself. We picked him up at the Vet, where he'd been in a cage for two weeks. He's a very cool guy, and after only a week with us, was laying around the refrigerator, oblivious to our three nosy (& big) dogs. Warm fuzzies, -mikey
Those eyes are fabulous! I anticipated a shorter nose / "flatter face", though?? (Sorry, George, I do not know how to say that nicely.) Compliments. ~jnconradie
