I like this better than the other glass shot of yours. Intriguing to look at!

The comments below are right! This is a superb and evocative shot. It begs us to spend time and watch at the reflections, bubbles, and lines. Is it a primordial experience?

Thanks guys. The object is a glass paperweight with green swirls and bubbles in it. I photographed it outside against a dark blue sky background (so the background became nice and dark when I used the channel mixer). --Melanie

Oh, and by the way, I just love those fairy-like whisps of bubbledust! Makes the image so magical! There must be some real subliminal messages going on here b/c it gives such a great feeling of magic and hope - yes, there is that large dark angel, but it looks defeated by the wonderful fairy who has left all those bubble trails - there is hope and happiness, elation and success, a strong sense of future.... OOOH, look at the lower left corner - who is that zipping up into the frame? Another fairy? She is bent over forward, intent in her rush to assist, her dress spread wide, leaving another magical trail behind her! Absolutely magical image - yes, I am repeating myself, but wow!

Please tell us more about this object. ~ Lonnit

What an interesting image! I particularly love the bubble at the top left third; the sunburst of light on it is perfection - it's sharpness supreme. Now this is the ideal use of hard sharp edges. The subject screams for it. Outstanding work! ~ Lonnit
