Sharon (?)....This is Fantastic. Although I'd personally rather not see snow this early in the year....it suits your photo and reminds us all of where this weather is going. nice feel to the photo and great colors/composition!
Nice colors. The weather in NY is a lot different from California. "Between the Seasons" here means between summer and autumn. The trees in my courtyard have some green leaves that are just getting red fringes now. I took some pictures of them, but I couldn't get the composition I wanted, shooting from my balcony.
Thanks, Olaf and Autumn! I am very flattered, Angela's images are wonderful, but I am not sure I quite live up to her quality. Yes, snow before Halloween, we got about an 1" yesterday but it melted pretty early, I had to be quick this morning. ~Sharon
Beautifully saturated color. I like how the snow mirrors the form of the orange leaf. Lovely, but... snow before halloween? I used to live in upstate NY and it was depressing when it snowed early. This image fits the theme very well, bravo.

Here's a compliment for you: When clicking on the thumbnail I thought this might be an Angela Johnson shot... Lovely in between colors and even the water is in between - melting snow - well done!
