Yes, that's Gayle's great photo click here from the hand challenge. It should have won that challenge, and it did win a photo of the month prize elsewhere. I didn't have that great Australian afternoon sun to come anyway near the great lighting of the original -- now did I use too much fill flash, and is the thumb oversharpenned??

This is great. Again, I'm too new to these challenges to have seen the original. But the link to it was invaluable. Wow, that original shot is awesome, Gayle! What a great take on the original shot this is. I think looking through this imitation challenge has made me laugh more than anything I've seen in years. Excellent work!

Jaw dropped in amazement, laughing my arse off! This is just hilarious! And the original hand model saw it as it was uploaded and he thinks it's funny too. "The Potato Grower" is (in my opinion) one of the two best photos I've ever taken, neither of which won challenges but both of which won awards elsewhere and were both published in national magazines. I am stoked to see this one copied. And I'm gonna point the finger at Neil for this, with Louise as his model.
