I think this has suffered somewhat by Jpeg compression. The fine details in the stone makes for a huge file.

Only way to take this pic from a higher perspective would be in an aircraft. Not gonna happen! As it was, I climbed a long way up to get this shot, then got stuck trying to get back down. The things we do for a photo! Gayle

I like this image. My 1 1/2 cents: I would have cloned out the distant mountains on the left side and perhaps tried to take the image from a bit of a higher perspective. I feel the ocean-horizon line should intersect the top rock and not so close to the junction of the two rocks. This would have better mirrored the distant island and played more strongly on the notion of an island as a tip of a submerged mountain.

Gayle, I really like this picture. Love the island in the distance and the contrast of the red stone vs the blue sky. Oz really looks like a beautiful country. Thanks for sharing it with us. theFly
