Ann, although the colours are of the red centre, this was taken at the southern most point of the mainland....just a short drive from where I live. The rocks are granite boulders and they make for an amazing sight on the beach.
Olaf, compared to the northern hemisphere, our winters are quite mild and some days we even get beautiful blue skies like this one.

Your title says it all. My husband and I visited Australia in 1985 and fell in love. Sadly we have not been back since. We especially loved the Red Centre. The colors there are amazing. We just have to find a way to come back. I love the rich reds in these rocks. Ann C
