I think Karl is right in his comments. It might have been better to shake off some of the water drops to get a better shot. This filter, swirly treatment just doesn't do it for me. If you wanted a more abstract feel to the photo, you could convert it to b&w or sepia and dodge and burn, add noise, etc.

I don't :) I think it looks horribly geometric and fake. The problem with the previous one is that the water is so uniform across the web. Give the branches around the side a bit of a shake, and try and shake off some of the water, and hopefully some of the droplets will also glob up together, giving a bit more variety and fluidity without resorting to throwing spirals in afterwards in paint.
