Coventry used to be known (and hated) for its modern shopping precinct and slightly forgiven for including the new cathedral, but the main glory is in the quantity of green spaces that have survived late C20th commercial development…suggest approaching from the east by way of Holy Trinity church and enter the medieval cathedral here
