cottage at Codenham

this is the first village where we enter Suffolk proper, ie away from the A14. The chimneys look genuine C16th, could be a complete late medieval hall house within. Unfortunately we are not the only ones to be grateful to have an A14 by-pass; lunch in the churchyard whence this was taken is delightful. Tea at the shop on the road junction at 'going home time' less so
