08 NOV 04 SOUTHERN GENTLEMAN

He is the consummate southern Gentleman
He is a former dentist where I work

He had the chairside manner of a saint
He quickly put everyone in his presence at ease
He deftly ended the pain his patients endured
He was the epitome of painless dentistry

He says he misses his passion (dentistry) every day

He is one of the few humans who totally LOVED his career
He retired from the military . . but stayed on in a auxilliary capacity

But dentistry got in the way of his other passion of wind surfing

He's surfed all over the world and won has trophies doing it

He annoys the hell out of me
=D

A kind face indeed. And a LOL to your last sentence!
Guest 10-Nov-2004 03:23
I would let him treat my teeth. :)

Looks like a friendly dentist should look!

What a warm story and pleasant looking man. Well done.

So does this mean you will take up wind surfing? ;-). I thought you showed more skill at being pulled along in a parachute aiming images down through your feet! ;)

What a kind-looking man. Very nice portrait.

He looks like the kind of person I'd put my trust in. And my teeth into his hands any day.

Wonderful portrait. You really caught his spirit as you describe it.

I take my hat off to any dentist that will deftly end my pain! Great tribute Pete!

What a great tribute, Pete. Terrific shot, too.

He has a warm sincere smile that portrays every bit the gentleman that you've described. I think it must have been a priviledge to have worked with him!
