And of course I worked with a resident comedian/clown
He was one of our specialists (the periodontist or gum specialist)

He was quick with a smile or a joke
But very serious about his role in his patients' oral health

This seemed to be "Old Home Week" at the clinic
Several of the former delights in my work returned for a brief visit

I miss working with these special people
My colleagues these days are MUCH more uptight about their lot

And I hope your current colleagues don't view your pad! See, your missing guys like this is exactly why change gets a bad rap... because change so often isn't good. My job changed 5 years ago and I miss my old cronies terribly. Of course I have no new cronies because I work alone now. Of course all of this is way more sentimental information than you probably wanted plopped on your pad, but what the heck, I was in the mood to wax poetic and your pad seemed just the place to do it.
