The Pantheon

Built in AD 118 under the Emperor Hadrian as a temple to the Roman gods, up until the fities, this was the world's largest unsupported dome.

Thanks, Grace! I was determined to get a clean shot of this place. When I first saw it, the place was crawling with hawkers, tourists, delivery trucks and all sorts of other eyesores. I got up at 6 am and waited for the light. It was too cold for most tourists so I was able to walk away with this.
