6 PaDs to go...

So, a little bit about the PaD community as a whole and comments. First off, there is a great
bunch of photgraphers, writers, and just general good people out there doing PaD, and making
PaD a positive experience. My philosphy was always to look thru, at least, the first few pages of
the meta gallery everyday (or almost everyday), and to try not to lean heavily on my favorites list
everyday. My goal was to see as many photographers as possible. During the first half of PaD,
I did a lot of commenting, but lately, not that much. It seems I have less and less time, and
to be honest, it just gets more difficult to comment on anything but the most interesting shots,
without saying the same thing again and again. I guess I have become jaded. One thing I
would have liked to see is PaD to become a place of constructive criticism (I know this has
been discussed in the forum on occasion), but I think I am in the minority on this one. Besides,
there are other sites out there for critques. Anyway, whether I move into another year of PaD or
not, I will continue to check out the meta gallery on a regular basis, as there are plenty of good
photos to be found here.
