Garland Seller

I usually ask before shooting people but in this case I thought it might spoil the moment if I asked up front. I was rumbled as soon as I pressed the shutter and she came over and pushed me towards her mother, repeating 'photo, photo...'. Rather than just give money I bought some of the garlands she was selling.

WOW! This one is simply superb! I really like the colors here (almost like Provia film) and the background itself (in a abstract way) really compliments your subject really nicely. I also like how the flowers on the girls dress mirror the leafs on her cheek. Really an incredible shot. Well done!
