I usually ask before shooting people but in this case I thought it might spoil the moment if I asked up front. I was rumbled as soon as I pressed the shutter and she came over and pushed me towards her mother, repeating 'photo, photo...'. Rather than just give money I bought some of the garlands she was selling.
