Don't fence me in..

Yesterday, we ran by a pasture occupied a menagerie of animals including this mule,
a couple of horses, goats, donkeys etc. By the time I retuned with the camera, the
light wasn't as dramatic as it had been earlier in the morning but this friendly fella
posed for me and the couple that owned the farm came out to see what I was up to with my
camera. We chatted and they told us that the animals were strays and orphans that
got dropped off at their gate and they had just became part of their family.

What a lovely boy, and a great shot. Lucky he found such a good home.

Lovely picture Cliff. Strange to think that anyone could leave a mule at someone's doorstep, but it's a strange world we live in :-)

Hmmmm, there's a parable in that photo and the story about the orphaned and abandoned animals... Happy holidays...to you and yours.

The light is still good. I like it with the shadows on the ground. Very crisp and sharp pic too :)

It's great to hear that some people care enougth to take these strays in...they are not cheap to look after...looks like he or she has got plenty of room to move around in...Thanks for sharing Cliff, have a great Xmas.
