Cloudscape in Mono

A "punched up" monochrome version of my image 'Cloudscape' as suggested by Jenene.

I rather like the effect, but I'd have preferred that the very top of the post was free from that cloud!

Prefer this one, Ray. But... I'm a b/w sort of bloke. I think it give more mood. And I think the cloud balances the composition.

Great one Ray... I personally prefer the B&W version.

I like them both, Ray. I agree this version is very dramatic. I also agree with you about that cloud. Susan's right, you could separate them a little in PS. I think the globe suffers a little in the b&w version - it's lost it's glow (that could be remedied as well!) I love that the same image gives us two entirely different stories.

It is special stripped. I like the color version slightly better with it's warmth.

maybe a bit of 'dodging' around the tip of the pole? but, I like it as is.

love this Ray - wonderful moody image - like it in mono and color - reminds me of the fading scene in a fifties movie -

I`m more with the mono! The b+w creates IMO a stronger "drama"! Brillant Ray!
