I’m surprised electrical leads are allowed to be left in such disarray in the Namby-Pamby world of Health and Safety we endure today.

We seem to live in a world of luminous jackets, daygo barriers and unsightly Heras fencing, which seldom enhance photographic opportunities.

And as much as I object to smoking, even those classic images are getting harder and harder to get.

I think that all planning permissions should be dependent upon the photogenic properties of a development. Completely agree about those luminescent jackets and signs.

Hi Ray - i've seen your insightful comments many times and figured it was time I actually spent some time on your galleries. really like this image. The natural widescreen framing provided by the shadows is great. Lol @ Namby-Pamby :).
