I took my summer evening walk today down near Newark Priory. Along the Wey Navigation I saw umpteem damselflies on and around the lily pads. There was quite a bit of action and I even caught one male ‘having his end away’…literally!

This is the male of this species of damselfly.

I like how you've gone for the shadow here Ray. Also it would be very tempting to get rid of the water sheen while increasing contrast. I like it how you've left it.
