These are some family postcards that have survived the past 90 years.
The seaside postcard is so typical of the period and was sent in 1915 by my aunt as a little girl to her father, who was then serving with the British Army in Dorset.
“To Greet my Girlie” and “Mizpah” were sent from my Grandfather to my Grandmother at about the same time, the former being postmarked Plymouth, where he was stationed for a time.
Compare with today. Discuss.
