Old Boy from Shoreditch

I met this old boy on Wednesday.

He was very proud that London had won the Olympics, and coming from Shoreditch, the venues will be in his part of the city.

When I asked whether he wanted his photo taken, he plucked these two photos from his jacket. The one on the left shows him meeting actress Barbara Windsor about three years ago and the one on the right when he was a young soldier in the Second World War.

Your portrait of him is pretty good, too! (Barbara Windsor could be mistaken for Dolly Parton, though.)
