May 11 2005:
The Southall Scuffle

Found myself in Southall today – a west London suburb which has an extremely large Indian and Asian community – people like me look like tourists from a distant land lol. I was only there briefly but it has given me the appetite to return. I was just returning to the car park in a back street when I, and a number of others, witnessed this scene. I’m not sure what it was really about, but a guy holding three or four CD’s in his hands seemed to be accusing someone….

More reportage….

Love this one Ray - the characters are 'captured' perfectly. Alas, I would have been too intimated to have snapped this one - good for you!!

Ray, you are so brave - either that or you're invisible! I'd be scared they were going to turn on me. Excellent.

Ray, you are the master of capturing street ACTION. These are perfect shots, so perfect, it almost appears to be a movie being filmed. The expressions and activity is real and fearsome.
