March 10 2005:
Carousel

I recently bought a second hand Kodak Carousel slide projector on ebay; businesses have been selling them for a long time now as digital projectors take hold of that market. However, this does mean I now have a way of projecting my Kodachrome since my old contraption conked out.

Also just added to my ‘Around West Surrey’ gallery…

Wow, Ray, I thought this was some sort of flower macro! I definately remember those old carousels and yes, I put the slides in upside down and backwards as well. Anyway, good picture!

Ahhhh, I love the noise of the slide projecter but I REALLY hate loading them up - I always seem to get 20% the wrong way round and when I try to correct them I just end up with a different set wrong. OK I'll shut up now.
