Intermission

After a continuous run of 541 fresh Daily photos, each taken on the day in question, I have found I can no longer continue uninterrupted with my ‘What I Saw Today’ gallery. My Body and Soul is going through a rough patch at the moment, so instead I've created this gallery to which I'll post some previously unpublished photos of mine. Who knows, I may even take the odd new photo and include it here too.

UPDATE! I have now restarted in earnest once more ‘The Story of My Days’

Ray, I just spent some time going through this gallery and I am so impressed. I found at least 10 shots that are really good. I especially like your b&w street shots, you certainly know how to be in the right place at the right time. Mad props to you, as the kids would say.

Ray - you'll be missed - one of the best PAD'rs I reckon - and one that has offered the most support to others. It's been interesting seeing you work evolve. I'll keep an eye out for whatever you shoot. Hope you feel better soon. Steve

Ray, I'm sure I'm not the only one who thinks "what on earth now" after 28 days - you're an inspiration, and no-one deserves a break more than you!

I do feel it's quite sad that the PAD pictures get so more attention than other equally good or better galleries, and personally speaking I think I've been neglecting the rest of my galleries in the quest for 'todays picture'.

Hope you're feeling better soon, and look forward to seeing more of your pictures - whichever gallery they're in.

There's a strange (in a positive sense) feeling in these pics, as if shot without the worry of making a "good" photo, a sense of freedom... no pressure of any kind...

Wow! After 541 days I believe my body and soul would be crushed... I'll definitely miss your images on PAD, but will certainly anticipate the growth of this gallery.

Ray, I am sorry to hear you are going through a rough time and hope that things will soon be sorted out for you. Your PAD has been on my favorites list since nearly the beginning of my PAD. 500+ days is a huge amount.... congrats! I took a couple months break and am now enjoying PADing again though I often miss days. A rest may do you good. :)
