In the Dark

Almost did yet another SP tonight as I had not been out. To trigger off the autofocus whilst setting up the remote, I always wave my hand in the plane my face is to be. Then I twigged that hand could indeed be my photo instead!

As I uploaded the photo, I then realised my work was in fact a feeble impression of that of Polyvios . I hope he’ll excuse me for that…

Photoshop:
Cropped and Resized
Converted to Grayscale and applied Quadtone using Black, Pantone 600C, 872C and 466C.
Adjusted in Levels also
Framed: using # F0EEE9

Great shot! The lighting on the upper part of the hand is wonderful ... it drew me right in from the thumbnail! Lovely image!

I think ray is saying.. "THE HAND" is a poly signature photo.. We all got to know it... quite intimately. or was that just me? LOL oh god.. that's how ugly pbase rumors start.. OHHHHHHH by the way, Ray... excellent (god help me, i almost used an exclaimation mark!) wait.. crap .. i did. grrrrr. anyhow the b&w-sepia-ish toning is great.. I like EXACTLY where this is placed in the frame.. is perfection
