August 12 2004:
Psycho

What better way to continue with my scary theme with this. I’d actually thought about this shot a few days ago, before I ‘topped the charts’ or thought about the hooded men.

My inspiration came from the still showing Janet Leigh HERE , but (a) I don’t look like her, and (b) I was a bit frightened to go full out in the lighting department! One thing I did learn here is that it was bloody difficult to get a good expression without screaming and having a visit from the Police.

Anyway guys, thanks for enjoying and supporting my gallery. Its people like you that keep me sane (or not..)

Absolutely brilliant! (Ray -- did you ever audition for one of Doctor Who's monsters -- a sea devil, perchance?!?)

Takes more than a bloody psychotic gent
with pointed hair and soaked to the bone
to get me scared.

I think Kim's shaking below me though.
;^O

I am still not scared! ;) Edina

Much, much better than Janet Leigh. Compared to your expression, she looks like a false banknote...
Guest 24-Sep-2004 19:02
You know...I'm not sure I'm a better Janet Leigh than you at all... ;-) Great shot this!

EXCELLENT shower shot . . . bubbles or not! I like your little HORNS sticking out from the side . .you TRY to hide them, but devilishness just beams thru! LOL!

That's terrific, Ray! Tomorrow I want to see the swirl of blood going down the drain (or chocolate sauce, which is what Hitch used, or so the narrative on the Universal Studios tour goes). I guess it was shower SP day, eh?

You look like you've opened your eyes to find someone in the shower with you - tony perkins perhaps?
nicely done, Ray

To me, this isn't so much psycho as vampirian! All you need is pointed canine teeth and you're good to go!

ooh a thriller series!! YAY! What a fantastic idea! Do you mind if I hop on? I'm at a loss for ideas lately and I LOVE horror! The dark and scary stuff thrills me to pieces. ;) Love your expression.

Ray ... good job of demonstrating an angry or scared man. Dramatic image.
Jill12-Aug-2004 14:02
Well Ray tongue in cheek, this is a bit scary! How I wish for a sound effect!
Carmen12-Aug-2004 13:53
How fun! Mr. Bates is in for a shock himself! You did really well in matching the expression, alarming the neighbors aside... ;^) It's a very neat shot.
