The last train to call at this station did so in 1965 and it is remarkable that a full length of platform survives as well as two station nameboards, one of which has a 1950's green enamel one on the back which was rescued from Worthing in the 1990's when discovered it in use as a shelf in someone's shed!

The trackbed along here is part of the Downs Link footpath, and there are even plans to place some replica level crossing gates on the site.
