Woking, Surrey

I don't really know how widespread 'Canal Art' is, particularly this style. This is a typically decorated Buckby Can, full of colour, atop a narrowboat at my town's canal festival today. This was shot in a very brief moment of sunshine in order to get the best out of this piece.

Good job good timing of the brief sun spell showing off this happy, brilliantly colored piece! Admittedly, I have not heard of canal art before though. Is there more?

Zowie!!! hot colors, just like I like 'em. OK, so now I want to see a whole bunch of canal art which is something I've never heard of. It looks kind of like the tole painting of the Pennsylvania area of the US.
