February 19 2004:
Happyjuice

Brooklands, Weybridge, Surrey

After driving around looking for a PAD today, I called in to get some milk, but I decided to treat myself and also buy a few goodies in Marks and Spencer. Not wanting to leave my camera in the car (!) I found this quiet corner of the store that sold Buck's Fizz and some other liquid refreshment.
Incidentally, this store lies on part of the well-known Brooklands motor racing circuit, so famous for its inclined bank used in races during the 'thirties and latterly an airfield that produced the Vickers VC10 airliner in the 'sixties. Such history is remembered by a fine museum on the site, but most of the airfield/track is now a business park.

Yes Ray, that sure is some camber. I am supprised that the bottles don't fall over.
How do you manage the trolley?

Good shot.

Good choice Ray plus a good image. Did you get Ian one for when he reaches No1?? [LOL]
Guest 19-Feb-2004 23:56
Like your choice Ray, however i'm not too sure about the M&S brand, I would prefer a nice vintage bottle of 1979 Bollinger R.D Champagne, not cheap but what price can you put on quality!

Party at Ray's!
All those soldiers, lined up and ready to be killed off. Makes a very nice image.

Ian: only for breakfast?? You could pour some in the bath tub instead of water - I hear thats what the rich and famous in fact do.
Jill19-Feb-2004 18:29
You called in to get milk? One has to call it in before a purchase?

Now to your photograph...in my mind this creates a story of a Alice in Wonderland type theme...as if these bottles are standing on stage as a choir..all singing.
I like it:)
