"Lilies of the Field," by William Edmund Barrett
(This composition combines 2 photos)
This title is a book and a movie. The lead character is a
free-spirited man who just finished his military service;
he stumbles upon five refugee nuns in Arizona
who have been praying for a chapel to be built
so they can minister to orphans.
The man's sudden presence is seen as a gift from God and
a sign that they will be able to build the chapel.
Wonderful book and movie highlighting Matthew 8:6,
"Don't worry about anything; look at the lilies of the field,
. . . God provides for them."
