~Inscription and Monument~

This sculpture of Abraham Lincoln is in Louisville, Kentucky Waterfront Park.
His two favorite books are set beside him ~ The Bible and Shakespeare.
This portrait does not have him in the customary beard,
but it does look a lot like him before he grew the famous beard.
