There are so many things that make this a nice image other than just the 8mm look. The placement of the most dominant item (the flag), where the sun is, how the sails on the left almost curve around to horizontal. Just a really nice image from a compositional view. This isn't an image showing what an 8mm lens looks like, but rather, how well it performs when in the right hands. Nice shot.

Effective use of the fisheye lens - nice image. Now you need an image of the Morgan in Mystic Conn.

we have the Coast Guard's Eagle square-rigger here this weekend . . .a fisheye of that would have been nice . . . . IF I had a fisheye . . . .
