Photo a Day, 1 June 2006...
Bit sad seeing the photo from last year as the Eastern Pheobes who have nested under our deck for the past 3-4 years don't seem to be around this year...

This is the first of my white isis to bloom - another is on the way shortly. I liked the long lines in this shot from the stems/leaves and the strong contrast between the flower and the background caused by the late afternoon light/shallow dof. The combination just struck me as being elegant - clean - simple
