Last Year's Photo

Photo a Day, 30 March 2006...Actual photo I took this morning... (Photo A Day is the year collage) My first year I really wanted to limit my photoshop rendering to photos... that is off for year 2...

I wanted to specifically thank a few PBase members...

  • Tom Darby (twdarby) - for helping me agonize and decide between Nikon and Canon... and letting bounce things off of him. BTW - I love my 20D!
  • Sharon (ksharonk) - for encouraging me to try SP. I still hate them but hey I've done 3 now in a year!
  • Karen (kleaf) - for an excellent outing to Old Sturbridge Village - we still need to do the Seaport!
  • Mindy McNaugher (mindymcn) - for inspiration with her incredible macros which lead to me getting the 100mm...
  • Gary Winters (digitalgee)- For throwing out the B/W February Challenge
  • The entire group of PADers - everyone who has posted a comment or inspired me to post one... for making this a lot of fun!

ACR, Crop/Perspective, Channel Mixer (b/w), Hue/Sat (toning), Rough Pastels Filter, Framing - Photoshop CS2

Canon EOS 20D ,Canon EF 24-70mm f/2.8L USM

Is this like "hanging up the towel"! Nicely done.

Lovely shadows on the curtain. Great atmosphere, the colour treatment adds to it.
Well done.

I'm ready! Let's go. End of the month, maybe??
Always blown away by your straight shots. I have a feeling Y2P is gonna entail you writing a lot of tutorials.Make 'em simple, please. In PDF would be ok too, lol! It's been great getting to know you-thru space and in person.

Really like the feeling and mood here. Very nice treatment....warm tones and exquisite shadows and light.
