23Oct05 Comb Jelly Bolinopsis - 6791

New England Aquarium, Boston

Photo a Day, Day 207...Cheating and posting another one from the New England Aquarium from yesterday... These guys were fascinating. About 2 inches long they had a bunch of them in this one display floating all over - looked like a bunch of space craft floating around in outer space. Eerie but cool at the same time.

Fascination creatures. Looks to be a challenging subject to shoot. Great job. GMV.

Excellent shot! Beautifully captured in what looks like a very difficult lighting situation!

Eerie subjects VERY well photographed in a difficult setting.

Nice jellyfish shot. I have a lot of trouble with these.

Yes have the lights but the lights were on the moon jellies not these guys...

The jelly displays were my favorite. Did they still have the lights you could play with and make them blues and reds?? I gotta get back there.
