20Aug05 One Spot Left - 5114

Old Sturbridge Village,MA

Photo a Day, Day 143...Went back to Old Sturbridge Village today since our tickets from last weekend were good for a 2nd day within 10 days.. The other mother had finally given birth to her piglets - Last night at 8pm. So these little guys were about 19 hours old here. They were in the barn and you had to have one of the farm workers escort you in. I happened to be in the right place at the right time to get in. The lighting was horrible since they had it pretty much shut up in there - Thank goodness for the 20d having decent quality at ISO3200! Even with that this is 1/15s at f/2.8... I've very happy this turned out - was afraid none of the shots I took of them would.

Wonderful capture. Great commentary too. I visited Old Sturbridge Village during fieldtrips in grade school. Thanks for sturring up some great memories. And you did great with the poor lighting.
