28July05 Quite Isolation - 4357

Norwich, CT

Photo a Day, Day 120...I like how this bee seems all alone with the sort of dreamy stalks of russian sage flowers about him. The shot itself feels peaceful and quite and the bee seems to be in isolation. However, the reality of the scene was quite different - it was taken outside the Norwich YMCA during rush hour and there were tons of bees all over the bush.
The power of a lense and perspective...

The colours of these flowers are quite magical, as is the quiet visitor ... lovely image! :)

You become the artist when you choose what you want others to see.
This is a case of pure artistry, beautiful because of what is there as well as whats not there. I like how you presented this a lot CJ!
