24July05 Queen Anne's Lace - 4300

Connecticut

Photo a Day, Day 116...I love Queen Anne's Lace... It is odd most of the ones I've seen this year don't have the little red flower in the center.
Long day yesterday - just got around to posting a photo for yesterday as well...

Beautiful flower! I've always wished they would grow here, just too hot! Wonderful detail!

I love Queen Anne's lace and the hundreds of tiny flowerlets! But what the heck happened to the little center one?? I do see a couple of ants and a little tan thingy, I'll bet they had something to do with the missing red center : )
