Canadian National Tower

The CN Tower is a free-standing structure 553.33 metres (1,815 ft., 5 inches)
The CN Tower attracts over two million visitors annually.

The Sky Pod, is located at 447 m (1,465 feet) & it's possible on a clear day to see approximately
100-120km away & even see an outline of the city of Rochester, across Lake Ontario in the U.S.

I wasn't anywhere near it, but when I saw the needle poking up by the tree, I couldn't resist a shot from that perspective.

My special thanks to everyone! For those inquiring about the name I've changed the subject title. Construction on the CN Tower started on February 6, 1973 by Canadian National Railway. In 1995, the CN Tower was declared one of the modern Seven Wonders of the World by the American Society of Civil Engineers.

I know I'm looking at Toronto when I see that tower. Not usually from this angle which is very nice for a change !

Excellent perspective, Carol. Not the usual presentation of the tower and it is refreshingly different in that the usual cityscape is not visible. Nicely executed.

I like the way it appears to be demurely poking out from behind the tree. I'm with Sue - that Sky Pod is about 400m higher than my comfort level. Of course the lure of a view of Rochester might have me changing my mind. John

Nice composition. I don't think I want to go up there though.. too high for me.
