I took our friends who were visiting from AZ to Historic Fort Snelling. During the course of our tour, we wandered into a building that recreated the old fort's px. In there was a local historian, a volunteer, who was a wealth of information, and then some, on the fort and its history and inhabitants. When you asked him a question, you got a story in return.
