The speed of light is mind boggling and took only 1.25 nanoseconds to travel from the filament to the camera sensor.

I’ve long said that I do come up with creative ways to cheat. Seriously, have none of you guys heard of or watched any of Gavin Hoey’s videos? If not I highly suggest you go to You Tube and search for him. For this shot I didn’t use the same process he used in his similar shot but I have before as a stepping stone. Here is a link to it. Now that I've seen the two shots that were combined, I'm impressed with the precise alignment achieved.

Not to diminish the quality of your effort, but where's the motion? Oh, the speed of light thing. In a way, doesn't that apply for every image?

I see how the unplugged version was done...but, but...the lit, the hot version...did you run naked lines and not a socket to fire this up? It would seem to me that if you moved it at all...they would never match again.

So your secret is still pretty well hidden.

My guess is two exposures, one with wires sending energy to the bulb, and one without.
Or maybe just cloning out a wire on the end.
I don't know, but it's a great shot.
