This is Meteor Crater, a meteorite impact crater located about 43 miles east of Flagstaff, near Winslow, in the northern Arizona desert. This crater is so large that 20 football games could be played on 20 separate football fields on the floor of the crater at the same time. The crater was used as a filming location in the 1984 film "Starman."
