Your work payed off. As I said, this is excellent; such a great interpretation of the challenge topic.
The eyes catch my attention immediately.

Thanks, Jim. There were two problems in this creation...one easy, the other not so much. This was taken at a graduation party, in the original there is a cool red star above his head....but for emphasis of the subject, now that I had something interesting.... the star above his head had to be cropped out.
You know I am a wide angle guy for greater information in every image, but sometimes you have to break your own rocks.
I wanted a traditional spotlight focus, letting the rest fade to black....but I used the wrong filter in PS...and then had to do 6 versions of this to polish to...something Cool.
