Thank you, shu, for your friendly words. I understand your finding the "artwork" somewhat dull (it's just what was hanging there when I took the picture in that hotel corridor). And you're right: the lead-in lines will irremediably take your eye there. I hope "the eye", then, will be able to wander freely and, eventually, get to what I refer to in the image's title: *that* is why I thought this picture was especially appropriate for this challenge... — db.

I like this the better of your two hallway shots, and as your title says, that mirror poses some intrigue. I expect it's seen a few collisions with intoxicated guests!

You've found the perfect angle for keeping the mirror subtle, and therefore intriguing.
