The layers of this shot are quite wonderful. What I like most though are the patterns of horizontal lines across the water. I'd agree that the central composition of the boat works. Perhaps because it's sandwiched in a nice way.

Alas, Jim, I shot it pretty much like this, as you see it. There is some small crop off the top....dang me!....lol Traveller
A beautiful scene which you captured well.
While I like the centering of the boat, I'd be interested in seeing how a crop of the right side changed the feel of this. Did you crop any off the right side already?
There was a little Dodging going on there at the top of the clouds....because even it wasn't there exactly like this....it should have been. Best Wishes, Traveller
