Thanks to all of you for the kind comments. I have many photos of hummers perched at feeders, but few in flight. The focus on this one is not perfect by any measure, but its not bad. The flower is sharper than the bird. Thanks, Ed Lindquist.
We have them flying around our back yard from time to time, generally going after the flowers and ignoring the hummingbird feeder hanging from the garage. I don't think I could ever capture one in flight, let alone do it this well.
