Looks good Joshua even in thumb with the centered split between tonal combinations. So I suppose this is facing east with Citicorp down the block on Lexington Ave on the left. -tv

Thanks for your thoughts, Olaf. I thought this would make a good b/w because it has some contrast of light and dark, but you may be right. The left side is actually very blue and, I think, quite nice in color. I'll have to think further about the b/w approach. I see some amazing ones in this contest already.

I like the right (dark) half of this image, while I find the left (bright) side less interesting to look at. I think it is because there is more contrast and play of light and reflections in the facade of the black building. Consequently I find the half-n-half composition dubious, as I'd like most emphasis on the most interesting parts of the image.
